After months of rumors about Nokia Lumia 1020, there is finally a happy ending. Nokia has unveiled this smartphone. It was done so on Thursday at an event in New York. The features of this latest Lumia smartphone are quite impressive, with star feature being its camera. The camera is of 41MP. As per the company, this camera records more detail than other camera phones. The company even claims that the quality of pictures taken by this camera is better than that taken by some digital cameras.

This 41MP Zeiss camera features Nokia’s PureView imaging technology. It features two types of flash – LED and Xenon. To further enhance the photo-clicking experience, Nokia has included Nokia Rich Recording video capturing technology and Nokia Pro Camera app.

Lumia 1020 Release Date & Price:
As far as the release date is concerned, Nokia announced that the smartphone will hit the US market on July 26. AT&T will be the first carrier to have this incredible smartphone in its stores. The price tag will be $299. The carrier will start taking online pre-orders from July 16th. Nokia said that after smartphone’s release is US, China and key European markets are where it will be released.
